HAPPY 6TH BIRTHDAY TO NUFFNANG IN ADVANCE!
I'd love to dedicate this blog post to Nuffnang, the Nuffies, friends I've made from Nuffnang-related events and this blog, ziweisandy.com. I might not have addressed it on the blog before but it's about time I tell a little story about the intimate association between Ziweisandy.com and Nuffnang. Without Nuffnang, the most prominent blogging and advertising community, there is no ZiweiSandy.
Personally, it's quite a heartwarming moment now for me, to be recording down the trial of memories about my blogging journey. I started blogging at the age of 18 when my current boyfriend of almost 5 years went on his journey of transforming from an ah boy to a man. Haha. I remember being very lacking in terms of interpersonal skills due to my sense of inferiority coming from a problematic family plagued with financial issues, hence I had no close friends to confide in. The old personal blog (no longer in use now) became my imaginary best friend where I thought nobody would bother to read. As such, a hell lot of unfriendly nonsense and self-righteous bitching went up online under public scrutiny without my awareness. I mean how could anyone be so dumb to not know that people do read blogs right? Letting bygones be bygones, I emerged from mistakes as a better person who absolutely cherishes interpersonal friendships and loves writing on my little space here. Through blogging, I have grown so much as a person. Starting a blog is one of the best decisions I've made in this lifetime.
To start afresh, I shifted my blogging to wordpress for a cleaner interface and neater navigation. I was really determined to change my writing style and become a better person. My blogging journey with wordpress however lasted for only 1 year as it couldn't satisfy me well enough. It was too clean and simple, so much that it bored me too soon.
One of the biggest reasons I returned to blogger is Nuffnang. Honestly, I'm sure many other Nuffnang bloggers feel this way too. I am really proud to be part of the Nuffnang community, so much that I love seeing Nuffnang skyscraper and leaderboard ads on my website. My blogging style also matured after I became more active with Nuffnang events and activities because I consistently remind myself the need to improve my blogging content. I eventually did. :)
This blog domain ziweisandy.com was made happened thanks to Nuffnang and I'm here today to confess my love in this blogpost.

FOUR. FILMING FOR REELITY SHOWDOWN SEASON 2!
I believe it's some good karma from my previous lifetime that I got selected by Nuffnang to take part in the filming of Reelity.tv's Reelity Showdown Season 2. It was the most fun and gainful overseas trip (not very far though), watching the 4-men crew work on professional filming I've been on, as well as making new friends whom I want the friendship to last this lifetime.
I've also blogged about my insights on all the 4 episodes.
AND if you haven't been following my blog, TEAM BUNZI (Juli and I) won the overall champion title from this showdown! :D Unbelievable right! O.O

I mean, there's no discrimination in the treatment they give to Nuffnang bloggers of different levels. It all feels like genuine friendship, nothing fake. Because of Nuffnang, I am given the chance to apply the skills I'm good at in the right and meaningful avenue - advertising. My blog and my blogging style attracted some interested partners who sponsor beauty products, clothes and skincare treatment. Never have I thought that I could have a legitimate reason to camwhore. Lol. Doing advertorials don't earn me a livelihood, but it's a good form of sideline income that encompasses a balance of passion and rewards. Nuffnang is a genius start-up.

I never knew I love good food so much. Nuffnang holds the entire responsibility of getting me addicted to food-hunting after I returned from the Genting foodie trip with Ladyironchef. Even though writing on food isn't easy for me, I still managed to do up a few good (self-proclaimed) reviews that introduce restaurants that I highly recommend. :) I probably wouldn't write so much about food, but do watch out for a food post on all the restaurants I've been to for my favourite dish - Eggs benedict. :B Stay tuned!

The blog is an avenue for me to write my insights and dedication on the song covers that I'd done.

Finally, i love Nuffnang because she grooms very talented, conscientious and bubbly bloggers from all walks of life. Some of them I've met face-to-face (not only those whom I've taken pics with) while the rest I've only seen them online. Honestly, I follow some bloggers' blog quite closely (and conveniently), thanks to the launch of Nuffnangx.com. From reading, I am exposed to the different blogging styles of all types of bloggers and those that I adore are the sincere ones, blogs with very pretty pictures, informative ones, interesting ones and people who produce good and useful content.
