Getting more broke nowadays as I'm heading out more often for outings and meetups.
Being an extrovert since forever, I love going for outings nonetheless.
1) Skinny pizza @ Raffles City and Fiv5 Izakaya Bar with Topsy last Sunday 8/1/12.
2) Sakae Sushi buffet @ Icon Village with Bee and his mum last Saturday 7/1/12.

Skinny pizza: I'd recommend the Squid Ink pizza, most unique, interesting and tastiest pizza i'd tried there. English breakfast pizza had too many vegs and tomatoes. Ew. The butter ginger chicken pizza had chicken cubes that tasted like Indian curry chicken. 3 regular pizzas priced 23$ each, to be shared among 7 people, not quite filling, not quite worth it.
Fiv5 Izakaya Bar: Ordered a "balloon" of Hoegaarden to share with 5 other og mates and the amount that I drank was just sufficient for me. Played a dice game called Bluff and damn i suck at it. Even the female freshies did a better job at bluffing and calling bluffs. Well, at least i had a greater share of the beer. Hehe. Heard from N that the bar is named "Fiv5" because most of its items are priced such that there is at least a digit 5 in their costs. You could get a drink for 5 bucks too. It's located at 16 Collyer Quay, #01-05B Singapore 049318 (formerly Hitachi Towers) Check it out on its website here. :D
Sakae Sushi: The prices of buffet dinner for students and adults have increased a fair bit. From about 16++ to 20++ now. The cost of some salmon dishes have inflated from 4.99 to 6.99 alr too. So disappointing. Realised that the variety has remained relatively unchanged and the price inflation is turning us off. Surprisingly, this time round I didn't overeat unlike the past few times I had sushi feasts with Leonard before he entered uni when the buffet prices were less steep. Nonetheless, dinner was still enjoyable with 2 of my favourite people that night. :)
Movie: Flying swords of dragon gate was rather gruesome but action-packed throughout! There was one extremely ridiculous scene whereby Jet Li and the bad guy were fighting in a dark Tornado. The storyline definitely scores a fail even the tiny twist at the back was unexpected but it's so trivial that I don't think it contributed much to the excitement of the story. I'd give it 3/5 stars largely for its ceaseless fighting actions throughout the show.
School has been good to me. My family and Leonard too. :) I'm a happy girl awaiting CNY + angpaossssssss arrival.
Good night.
