[Staycation] W Hotel: 2nd Anniversary #JRxZW!

Hello world.

I've promised myself that I will return to blogging for blog-worthy events again.
This blog which I had held very very dearly to for 3 years before I started my career is missing out too much happiness I experienced these 2+ years.

Hence, Ziwei is now back in action to write about (or rather post photos on) her stay at W Hotel Marvelous Suite in celebration of her 2nd year anniversary with the boyfriend.

I stopped taking selfies ever since I gained an exponential amount of weight.
Here's one though. Don't mind the fat face. lol.

It's been 1 month since I began to drive. I must say I have a love-hate relationship with owning a vehicle.  But, it's always a good ride with a companion. :)

Several times we have heart to heart talks and recently he has agreed to having more photos with me after I mentioned how i missed blogging with happy photos. :) This post has a truckload of happy photos. :D

Scenic view of Singapore as I drove along the highways. I believe the photographer will continue to improve on his skills. :p

Thanks to the boy's encouragement throughout my career, at the start of this year, I managed to hit the Superstar tier of our quarter 1 staycation incentive and got entitled to a 3D2N W Hotel Marvelous Suite + $2000 worth of RWS vouchers! Thank you Prudential. :)

Underutilized spacious living room. We only used it for a movie during one of the nights.

Study table for the studious. Of course, we didn't use it.
Before I forget, W is really generous with bottled Dasani water. Everyday, they restock 5 bottles each suite to make sure we are hydrated all day.

The awesomest room I have ever stayed in!
Very huge, fully carpeted and W has the comfy-est bed and pillows ever.
Both mornings, we only managed to force ourselves out of bed for breakfast at about 10.30am, when breakfast ends at 11am. It's THAT comfortable.

At night, we can switch the lighting to a soothing sleep-inducing warm atmosphere. No need to be afraid of the dark too as the subtle pink decorative lighting is just nice for sleep.

Now, it's toilet showcase!
W provides 2 sets of toiletries for both of us. Guess what, they even have facial wash, tweezers, mouth rinse and 2 SINKS! Just wow.

2 bath robes, a weighing scale, 2 floor mats and 5 shower towels. Omg so wasteful. Not to mention their bath tub and ... ...

... ... an accompanying hanging TV!

The room's got a walk-in wardrobe which I didn't manage to take a snapshot b'cos the boy flunged open his luggage at that spot the moment he entered the room, depriving me of the nice snapshot of it.

This hanging free-swinging couch is a definite attention-snatcher b'cos it's extremely rare to find it in hotels and resorts locally and overseas. :)

The best photo of the room, i feel. Enormous balcony for stargazing/yachtgazing or beer. :)
It's quite impressive to have the automatic censor in the room to switch off the aircon whenever the balcony door is opened. W puts up a suggestion to stay green by opening up the balcony and enjoying the breeze more. :)

Here's the heated pool which JR and I didn't manage to explore. So sad. But it's ok, we will get a chance to return to W hotel again!

Here's our breakfast zone. Beautiful isn't it.

On a side note, I really appreciate my Olympus ELP-7 camera very much for keeping my snapshots sharp and nicely coloured. I really do not have the skills and patience to edit my photos. Any photo editing software or programe to recommend?

Junrong was telling me that for such luxurious suites, people should spend more time at the hotel instead of exploring outdoors too much. It's a regret we didn't try the gym, the spa and the pool. Till the next time!

Thank you for reading my blog my friends! I managed to update my blog finally! Really happy!!!

UP NEXT: Food review at Joel Robuchon Restaurant at RWS Michael Hotel. :)

[Special post] USS Hollywood After Party

[Special post]

My love for Twilight movies, especially the final one, is undying no matter how much Leo scorns at them and how much my other male and female friends roll their eyes at Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson.

As such, my definite dream Hollywood Party would be the absolutely sexy Twilight vampire theme. Everyone, inclusive of both genders, should put up very thick BB cream as their foundation base, perfect nude eye makeup, thick defined brows, coffee-shade lips, ash brown glossy hair and red/hazel brown contact lenses. That very night, everyone would have perfect blemish-less skin and a face with beautifully made up features, without having to give a shit about whether people judge them for having makeup on. Everyone has the rights to make oneself look at one's best, no? I guess I'm one of those who are slightly more open-minded in this sense because I'm totally fine if Leonard (ever) applies concealer or foundation on his face to hide the what-nots. I mean people who meet someone with a "clean" face would feel more at ease and comfortable with him or her to hang around more yea? There are zillions of makeup products in this world and it would be such a huge pity if guys are forever unappreciative of them simply because of the societal-induced gender norms and restrictions. :/ What a waste for guys with beautiful facial features but flawed skin.

Of course of course, it'd be awesome if we've got some hot bods strutting their hard rocks at the bars. ;D
I'm speaking on the behalf of 80% of the girls k! Lol. If you're gonna give me self-righteous remarks about the absolute importance of one's inner beauty, then save it for yourself. Appearance and looks matter. I've been an exercise-fanatic all my life and even though my progress towards achieving a hot bod is utterly slow and inconsistent, my mind and body gear towards this goal of looking fit and tone everytime I'm not so caught up with any work.

It would really be cool if all the attendees of the Hollywood after party sprinkle glitters all over their faces and bodies, thus making their bods shimmer during the late hours. Don't even need to get under the sunlight. Lol. The hassle in removing it after the party would probably be worth it.

Honestly, if anyone really organizes a party of this theme, i'd definitely stick to the theme (and be judged) because I'm curious how I'd look like with a Twilight look. Would definitely love to experiment with the natural nude make up, brightly-coloured contact lenses and having glitter spammed all over my hair and body like a Hollywood superstar. Of course, it'd be even more exciting to be surrounded by fellow "vampires" for the very night, simply because, SO MUCH CAMWHORING TO BE DONE! :D

Did I just give some girls turning 21 an idea about how they could possibly theme their birthday celebrations?
INVITE ME PLS! ;D

Hearts,
P/S!!
Anyway, this is for those who haven't seen my latest cover!
Do be generous with your comments and likes especially. :)
You don't know how much every single feedback of any kind matters to me.
Thanks in advance. :)
